Event description:

South Etobicoke Community Legal Services’ will be holding a free public legal education workshop to offer basic knowledge and training on tenant rights when it comes to rent, rental arrears, increases, deposits, and subsidies. With so many of our community members facing threats to their housing based on the high cost of rent compared to income, we hope this event will help attendees be better aware of the rules, processes, risks and opportunities relating to rent.
